In May, at the Yunlong Lake in Xuzhou,
2,000 drones lit up the night sky with the word "Welcome" in multiple
languages. The Han-style war drums and steel machinery played a powerful
symphony of the times. With the theme of "Future Construction Site",
the 7th International Customer Festival of XCMG presented a feast of the
integration of industrial aesthetics and cutting-edge technology to the world,
attracting over 2,000 customers from more than 80 countries to witness the
paradigm shift of China's construction machinery on the spot.
At the exhibition site, XCMG launched three
"world's best" products in a row: The DL1050 wheeled dozer set a new
record for large-tonnage equipment with a 31-cubic-meter bucket capacity and a
rated power of 1,050 horsepower; the XC9108-EV pure electric loader, with a 700
kWh battery capacity, can operate for 8 hours after charging for 58 minutes,
reducing energy consumption by 70%; the XC968-EV unmanned loader, with L4-level
autonomous operation capability, together with electric excavators and dump
trucks, formed the world's first dynamic collaborative operation
"intelligent fleet", completing the repair of a 20-meter damaged road
in 45 minutes, presenting a revolutionary scene of "zero-carbon
construction".
Unlike traditional single-machine
competition, XCMG is redefining the industrial logic with "integrated
scene solutions". At the Jiawang test site, audiences witnessed the entire
unmanned operation process from earthwork excavation, transportation to road
surface restoration. While carbon emissions were reduced to zero, construction
efficiency increased by 40% and safety risks were cut by 90%. This
"industrial drama" that pre-plans construction solutions marks that
competition has leaped from the product level to the ecological level.
Entering the XCMG Green and Digital Base,
the 5G fully integrated production line produces over a thousand new energy
loaders every month. The laser cutting and robot welding processes of the
XC9350 electric drive loader demonstrate the unique domestic and third globally
largest production capacity for super-large tonnage. Relying on the
"1+14+N" global system - the Australian R&D center conquering
extreme working conditions for mining equipment, the Japanese team customizing
compact equipment, and the Brazilian base achieving local production of core
components - XCMG's overseas revenue from earthmoving machinery increased by
67% in 2024 compared to the previous year, with overseas sales of electric
loaders growing nearly threefold, covering 190 countries and regions.
Driven by the "dual carbon" goals, XCMG has led the formulation of 2 national standards for electric construction machinery and participated in the formulation of 13 others. It has also deeply participated in the formulation of 5 international standards. Its L4-level unmanned equipment technology has been incorporated into the green mine construction standards of global mining giants such as Rio Tinto and BHP. The chairperson of ISO/TC10 commented that it "masters the most cutting-edge technology". From a technology follower to a rule definer, XCMG is reshaping the value coordinate system of the global construction machinery industry.
When an order worth 800 million US dollars
was reached at the customer festival, Yang Dongsheng, the chairman of XCMG
Group, revealed the core: "We showcase our technology, and customers
return their trust." This grand event that integrates Eastern wisdom and
industrial civilization not only indicates the strategic transformation of
China's construction machinery from scale output to value output, but also
heralds the era of "boundary breakers" like XCMG in the global
industrial landscape.
