LIUGONG has delivered 20 mining trucks to a major steel project in Malaysia, with all units now deployed on the construction site to support ongoing project development.

The project is one of Malaysia’s key industrial developments. It adopts natural gas-based direct reduction technology to produce hot briquetted iron (HBI), with plans to expand into electric arc furnace steelmaking and rolling operations. Supporting infrastructure, including an ore terminal and a dedicated power plant, is also planned.

At the construction site, the 20 LIUGONG mining trucks are primarily engaged in site leveling, earthmoving and material transportation across stockyards and construction roads. Facing diverse operational demands, the trucks deliver reliable performance and powerful productivity, helping improve material handling efficiency and support the smooth progress of construction activities.

This delivery highlights LIUGONG’s capabilities in providing equipment solutions for large-scale industrial projects. Moving forward, LIUGONG will continue strengthening cooperation with local customers and project partners, supporting Malaysia’s industrial development with reliable products and services.
