In the summer heat environment, if your excavator does not have air conditioning, the temperature of the cockpit is no different from that outside, which is difficult! To tell the truth, summer is really inseparable from the air conditioning, but if the air conditioning in the hottest time "off the chain", this is not just a joke, this is to live hot halo rhythm. Therefore, we must pay attention to the daily use and maintenance of excavator air conditioning to reduce the failure of air conditioning.


1. Pay attention to the temperature difference between the internal and external temperature is too low and the fuel consumption is large
First of all, it is best not to adjust the temperature too low. Pay special attention to the temperature difference between the inside and outside the cab. The temperature difference is too large to easily cause the operator to catch a cold, cough, fever, low spirits and other diseases. Air conditioning temperature is too low, the load borne by the engine increases, will increase fuel consumption.

2. To prevent blockage, clean and replace the filter regularly
The air conditioner of the excavator should also be regularly maintained. The air conditioner filter is generally cleaned once every 500 hours. If it works in a dusty environment for a long time, it needs to be cleaned frequently. When there is too much dust or other impurities on the filter, it will block the filter mesh and reduce the cooling effect of the air conditioning. Of course, the filter must also be replaced regularly.

3. Condenser sheet impurity cleaning and inspection
In addition to the regular cleaning of the air conditioning filter, it is also necessary to clean and check the air conditioning condenser sheet. The dirt, dust and other impurities on it should be cleaned in time to prevent the air conditioning condenser from blocking and affect the cooling effect of the air conditioning.



4. Clean up other impurities and dust of air conditioning
Other impurities dust cleaning, such as removing the dust on the heat sink, because the dust on the heat sink is too much, will increase the fuel consumption of the engine; The sundries at the air inlet of the air conditioning should also be dealt with in time. More sundries will block the air inlet, resulting in smaller air output of the air conditioning.



5. Check the belt tension of the air conditioning compressor
Check the air conditioning compressor belt tension regularly, generally every 250 hours. In the middle position between the drive pulley and the compressor pulley, press the belt with one finger (about 6.2kgf force), the belt deflection should be 6.3-8.7mm. In addition, it is necessary to check the refrigerant regularly. The low level of refrigerant will affect the cooling effect.

6. Check the air conditioning season without excavator
The excavator air conditioner is of course used for cooling and refrigeration in summer, and most of the time is not in use in other seasons. It is necessary to check when the air conditioner is idle. It is best to operate the air conditioner for 3 to 5 minutes every month to prevent failures that do not appear for a long time.
